Client feedback - 05/05/17

Date: 5th May 2017

Progress of brief: Development

Issues discussed:

- Illustration styles

- How to incorporate an animation style into my postcard image

Client feedback:

Penny was happy with how things have progressed. She also mentioned as a sidenote by playing around with different visual styles, I wasn't considering the client's needs - I'll keep that in mind.

Action points:

- Can you bullet point your next steps through to completion? A list of practical points for you to work through, relax ...most of the hard thinking seems to be done – just executing to an appropriate Sarah Records standard!

My next tasks:

- story board and test different ideas to get the animation working

Hi Lisa This is great. I would keep in mind Alistair’s comments on staying focused and keeping things simple. Your hard work generating masses of ideas is fab ... but ...slow down and keep an eye to what you have to do here. Yes use your lovely line illustrations to say ‘Bristol’ and Yes good choices of landmarks and Yes don’t overcomplicate... your animation is, in itself, a complex element. A note: Many/most ‘live’ projects are about satisfying the client within the timescale and budget.. not so much about what you want to try out for yourself. It’s about what you can achieve and offer the client as an achievable solution. Don’t bite off too much and lose the whole because you are trying to showcase heaps of ideas. Action point Can you bullet point your next steps through to completion? A list of practical points for you to work through, relax ...most of the hard thinking seems to be done – just executing to an appropriate Sarah Records standard! This is good work Lisa.
