Creative uses for records

This has nothing to do with my project, but came across some interesting 'vinyls':

The tortilla record, etched on a laser cutter. Just a bit of food for thought for my own project (thank you - I'm here all week!)

This project is a bit more sophisticated and based around tree rings (known for showing their development year after year, whether that's the growth or disease.) The appearance of the rings was given a musical tone and created something that sounds almost like a Rachmaninoff piano concerto.
